At Happy School, we provide education with an objective to empower students to make decisions, to find creative solutions and plan effective action strategies. The curriculum is structured in a manner that keeps your child in touch with the ever-changing world trends, right from the junior years to the senior level.
We constantly revamp, reinvent and evaluate the classroom and teaching strategy to create the most appropriate education that our children deserve. The study programme for all learning levels is unique because it is a cross-fertilization of the finest teaching methodologies. The school curriculum is planned keeping in view the CCE pattern.
The Pre-Primary Level (Nursery and Elementary)
• Learning is made interesting, fun and activity oriented at this level through play-way method.
• Nursery activity room - It is one of the unique features of Happy School, where various activities are organised to improve Kinesthetic and motor abilities of the nursery students.
• Participation of the students is encouraged through such activities as drawing and colouring, writing, group games, flash cards, conversation, entertaining & informative activities like puppet theatre, clubs and celebration of various festivals.
• Saturdays are utilised for activities.
Primary Level (Class III to V)
• A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various interactive sessions and activities.
• Use of the newspaper articles, quizzes, crossword and other learning tools enhance general awareness.
Middle Level (Class VI to VIII)
• The emphasis is on acquiring in-depth conceptual knowledge.
• Personality development, value education and coping with peer pressure are stressed upon at this stage.
Senior Secondary Level (Class IX to XII)
• Science and Commerce are among the main academic streams offered at Happy School.
• Various combinations of subjects are offered so that students can pursue their desired courses of study later in life.
• An equal stress is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus and on preparing the students for the various competitive entrance examinations.
• A synchronized study pattern is maintained between the course content of the board examinations and that of the competitive entrance examinations. |

Faculty
Happy School started in 1953 and presently has about 2000 students & experienced faculty of over 100 teachers. The School has an extremely committed and qualified faculty that constantly strives to make learning a pleasurable experience for children and works to realize the potential of each child. The teachers constantly upgrade their professional skills through a multitude of in-house training programmes along with workshops conducted by experts. Workshops and orientation on life skills, subject enhancement, effective stress management etc. go a long way in equipping them to strike an admirable balance between home and the workplace and achieve success in both spheres.
Orientation & PTM
The school organizes orientation programme for the parents from time to time to make them aware about the latest updates in curriculum and evaluation system. Regular PTMs are held during the session to inform them about the academic performance / progress of their wards.
